Bamboo bikes made in Africa is the result of an innovative project initiated by Ghanaian entrepreneur Bernice DAPAAH. Her outstanding creativity has been acknowledged through various national and international awards. The company's workforce, consisting mainly of women, undergoes training in bamboo bicycle construction. Moreover, for each bamboo stalk used, ten additional stalks are planted.
