Now, let’s do this calculation, the minister gets paid Ghc 35000 as salary every month:

His Duty allowance is 50% of his salary, so 50% of 35000 = Ghc17,500

Special allowance is 30% if his salary thus = Ghc 11,600+

Entertainment allowance is 35% if his salary thus = Ghc12250

Clothing allowance is 10% of his basic salary thus = Ghc3,500

Constituency allowance is 25% of his basic salary thus = Ghc8,750

Total : Ghc88,600 ( thus over 800 million old currency) with the exception of his privileges, if his privileges are added he’ll be taking home close to 2billion old currency at the end of every month.
