Copied: Three Black men. Four days. One country: Pengo Bossio Wangi was killed in a racist terrorist attack. José Capela died after a brutal assault. Mauricio K. died in police custody while his family is demanding answers.
Different circumstances. Same question: How many Black men have to die before France is forced to confront what is happening? We want truth. We want accountability. We want justice.
Say their names.
Pengo. José. Mauricio.

"I’d Rather See My Face Aging Than a Face That Doesn’t Belong to Me"
Cameron Diaz is choosing to embrace aging on her own terms, taking a rare stand in an industry obsessed with stopping the clock.
While cosmetic treatments have become standard practice in Hollywood, the Charlie's Angels star revealed she avoids Botox and facial injectables entirely. Her reason? She values authenticity over artificial youth:

While cosmetic treatments have become standard practice in Hollywood, the Charlie's Angels star revealed she avoids Botox and facial injectables entirely. Her reason? She values authenticity over artificial youth:
"I'd rather see my face aging than a face that doesn't belong to me at all."
In a culture that constantly pushes perfection, Diaz's perspective is a refreshing reminder that growing older is a privilege, not a flaw to fix.

Naomi Osaka's grandfather once disowned his own daughter for falling in love with a Black man. Years later, he watched his granddaughter win the US Open and cried.
Naomi's mother, Tamaki, fell in love with Leonard François, a Haitian-American man. Her father, Tetsuo Osaka, opposed the relationship. He reportedly considered it a disgrace to the family because Leonard was Black and not Japanese.
Tamaki refused to abandon the man she loved. She chose her relationship over her family's approval, and the couple moved away from Hokkaido. For years, she remained estranged from her father.
Then came Naomi.
The little girl born out of that relationship grew up to become one of the greatest tennis players of her generation. In 2018, when she won the US Open, the same grandfather who had rejected her parents watched her on television and wept.
He eventually became one of her biggest supporters. And in 2021, he expressed a wish for Naomi to open a tennis school in Nemuro, the very town her mother had to leave because of his prejudice.
Why should Naomi be expected to give back to a community whose values once made her own mother feel unwelcome because of the colour of the man she loved?
Why should she be expected to build opportunities for people in a society that treated her parents' love like a disgrace simply because her father was Black?
Racism doesn't become acceptable because the people involved eventually reconcile. And a few tears at a tennis victory don't erase the pain, rejection and humiliation that came before them.
Naomi owes nobody a tennis school. She has already overcome enough to become a global champion.
If she chooses to build one, let it be because SHE wants to, not because people who once rejected her family's existence now want to benefit from her success.
You cannot reject a family because of the colour of their skin, celebrate the success of the child they raised, and then act entitled to the fruits of that child's greatness.

Too much talking than action when it comes to this LGBTQ+ law.
I trust no politician in this country when it comes to this nonsense Called LGBTQ+. Meanwhile, those who forced this nonsense on us are themselves running away from it, yet we still are afraid to reject it.
