Gates says he expected the pandemic to push the world into better preparation for future outbreaks. It didn’t. He then predicted that over the next several years the world will face cyberattacks far bigger in scale than anything seen before, because the business model exists.?
His foundation poured more than $2 billion into the response — diagnostics, treatments, mRNA vaccine work, and the C*VAX push.
Schools closed, businesses locked down, doctors lost autonomy, and mandates followed. Excess deaths, learning loss, and economic damage piled up. Gates now says the whole episode failed to create the readiness he counted on.
Critics have argued Gates and other foundations drove overreach that treated skepticism as a threat while sidelining natural immunity and early-treatment debates.

The same man who positioned himself as the expert who saw C*VID coming is now positioning himself as the expert who sees the next crisis — this time tied to AI-powered cyberattacks.
The gap between the promise and the result is clear.
How many more times does the same alleged expert get to declare the last emergency failed while warning the next one is already on the way?

If the allegations that Dennis Miracle Aboagye is spearheading the circulation of this misleading information are true, then serious questions must be raised about his suitability for the position of National Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party.
Political communication should be built on facts, credibility, and constructive criticism, not misleading narratives. The opposition has every right to scrutinise the government's performance, but such criticism must be grounded in verifiable evidence.
The question is simple: Is the NPP running out of credible messages to communicate to Ghanaians? See less

Thousands of users are urging her to leave him and calling out his total lack of support, others in the comments are debating whether underlying mental health struggles or gaming addiction played a role in his behavior. Do you think weaponized incompetence in a marriage is grounds for divorce, or should couples try therapy first? See less

Covid-19 shots were not owned or made by Pfizer or Moderna.
They were owned and made by the military. Pfizer and Moderna were paid to make it appear like it came from the pharmaceutical industry.

A high school student from Virginia has designed a water filter that removes nearly 96% of microplastics from drinking water — without using a filter membrane at all.
Mia Heller, from Warrenton, Virginia, got the idea after reading about microplastic and PFAS contamination in local water and watching her mother constantly replace expensive membranes in the family's home filtration system. Mia Heller, from Warrenton, Virginia, got the idea after reading about microplastic and PFAS contamination in local water and watching her mother constantly replace expensive membranes in the family's home filtration system. She wondered whether plastic particles could be pulled out of water a different way.
Her answer was ferrofluid — an oily liquid packed with tiny magnetic particles. When it is mixed into water, microplastics stick to the oil. A magnet then pulls the ferrofluid, along with the captured plastic, back out of the water. In her tests, the system removed about 96% of microplastics, and roughly 87% of the ferrofluid could be recovered and reused.
Her compact prototype, about the size of a bag of flour, earned a special award at the 2025 Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair.
Important context: this is a student prototype tested in the lab, not a product you can buy. It would need more testing for safety, scale and long-term performance before it could be used in homes or treatment plants.
Still, it's a brilliant example of how a curious teenager with a simple idea can take on one of the planet's biggest pollution problems.
